the church, which is one of our finest architectonic mon­ uments, has still retained a number of interesting associa­ tions of olden days. Foremost among these are K on g o - graven c (the Royal Mausoleum). In three of the pillars of the church are immured the remains of Harald Blaa- tand, Svend Estridsen and Margrelhe Fridkulla, in a fourth pillar the remains of the bishop Vilhelm; behind the altar is the beautiful sarcophagus of the Queen Margrethe. All the Kings of the House of Oldenborg are buried here with the exception of King Hans, Christian II and Frede- rik I. Many ;of the sepulchral monuments are of great beauty. ^
