Frederiksvaerk is situated on Roskilde-fjord at the foot of high forest-covered hills be tween the town and the large Arrcso (lake), The town is much frequented by tourists and many fine trips may be taken from there. From Fre- riksv a rk the railway is con tinued past the station of Uarrcskov, Melby, Dyssekilde, Ostbjerg, Vibenshus to Hunde sted. The station of Melby especially is strongly trafficed by the numerous guests of the fishing village of Liselcjc, now quite a town of villas, situated on the beach along Cattegat. Hundested, another fishing village, has a good harbour, lighthouse, customhouse and pilotstation and is much patro

I t will pay to do it, as the Gribso is uncom monly beautiful and diversi fied, and the stock of deer is very large, nized by the town people du ring the vacation. North of the town, is a row of high slopes, the highest being Spodsbjerg lighthouse. North of this is the small ham let of Kikhavn. South of Hundested is Ly mes; another fishing village, now about being a p a rt of Hundested. From Lynaes are steamship- connections with Frederiks- surnl and Nykjobing. From Hundested a motor boat crosses the Issefjord {*/, an hour fine sailing) to the idyllic Boring, north of which is Rorvig bath on C attegat and the characteristic and very beautiful Dybeso (deep lak e). Tourists wanting a more quiet place than the crowded watering places along the Sound or the North-Coast of Sealand are advised to stop here, where the air and wa ter is especially invigorating.
