The nightly places of amu­ sements are not numerous in Copenhagen. must bo a member, b u t a tou­ rist, w ith some acquaintan­ ces in Copenhagen will not have much difficulty in get­ ting a card of membership. Among the best, known of these clubs is the above mentioned Lorry-Club- in the establishment of Lorry on Fre- deriksberg, where the public is gay and informal and where everything still is kept stric t­ ly inside the lim its of decency. The Lorry-Club is a place, where the Danish character shows itself at its best. The entertainm ent hero is not on­ ly the dance. Soloists and sin­ gers give performances in the pauses.
