Besides the church pro­ per, the building contains the dwellings of the pastor and some officials, halls for mee­ tings, reading room for sai­ lors, library, policlinic and rooms for different Swedish societies. Admission daily by application to the inspector (the Vagtmester). Set. Andreas Church (route 5) on the corner of Farimags- gade and Gothersgade is built in 1901 (architect M artin Borcli) from red monastic bricks in pure Boman style with Danish church-motives. Above the square tower the spire rises eight-cornered, af­ ter which the special stairway begins around the copperpla- ted tower, protected by a gilt iron-fence, up to the globe, on top of which is a 3 m. high figure of the Saviour with the standard of victory. The ascent is absolutely safe and there is daily admission by application to the sexton, St. Annaegade 35 (2 K r. for 1—12 persons). In the tower is a gigan­ tic clock-work, made in 1699.
