On the ground floor is a large saloon on the wainscot of which are seventy nine pictures painted by celebrated masters; from this apartment which was the presence chamber of His Majesty Christian the fourth is a speaking trumpet; it is one hundred and twenty feet in length, and extends to the most southern apartment of the palace. Near this hall is an apartment which was the bed room of the above mentioned King, and in which lie died on the 28th of February 1(548; on the wainscot arc different portraits; but there is one picture that is ' i I 1 ' very remarkable; it is descriptive of that celestial vision which was seen by this Monarch in the palace
