The headquarter of the sport in Copenhagen is the Kobenhavns Idrostsparlc (the Copenhagen sports-park) on Csterbro. Among the open-air arrangem ents is an up-to-date Stadion, used not alone for exhibitions, b u t for tbe daily training. The lioclccy (/rounds too are used for the games and the training, while the field laid out for the foot-ball, is used solely for the games and especially for the more im portant or international con tests. For the training of foot ball more than a score of fields are laid out in the surrounding park. Connected with the foot ball field is a large club-house where quite a number of clubs have their practical and well arranged dressing-rooms.
The large sports-house next to Stadion is one of the Co penhagen sights. In the first place it holds a big hall for exhibitions w ith 2200 seats. All more im portant boxing, w restling or gymnastic contests take place here. Then there are 3 balls arranged for spe cial kinds of training, fencing, w restling and boxing. In a fourth hall the Danish Sport Association keeps its library. Tbe association and the sports- park have their offices in the building and finally there are dressing rooms for all the clubs train in g on Stadion. Tbe sports-house is built by the architect Soren Lemche at the expense of 1 million kroner, while the whole sports- park, including the cost of
