Hojbroplads is to the right, when passing Amagertorv on Route 1 through the main promenade. I t is easily known on account of the high eque strian statu e of the founder of Copenhagen, the bishop Absalon (see Chapter 8) be hind which the big mass of Christiansborg palace is seen in the background. All fo renoon the Hojbroplads pre sents a very beautiful and li vely view with its m arket of flowers and vegetables (see Chapter 10).
