FREDERICIA HARBOUR is situated exactly where the Kattegat and the Little Belt meet. The harbour Roads here can be safely navigated by the largest vessels and by reason of the strong current the port is practically icefree the whole year round.

From East to West the harbour consists of the following sections:

Depth of water 7.5 m

The Citadel harbour

Jetty for tankers (Shell Co.)

9.0 m 5.6 m 3.0 m

The Old harbour The Fish harbour

The New harbour under construcfion

7.0 m and 9.0 m

6) Jetty for tankers (Det forenede Olie Kompagni) 9.0 m 7) Pleasure-boat harbour (under construcfion) 3.0 m

The new traffic harbour (shown on the plan as the ”New Harbour”) which will be completed 1939 has an aggregate area off 55.000 m 2 and areas direct at quay and railway track amounting to 35.000 m 2 ban be hired. The above named excellent situation of the harbour together with the close connection of Fredericia with Denmark’s main traffic system offers great possi- bilities for both import- and export activities.
