And here I must emphasize the beautiful feature in the composition of the building, that the two sides of the castle have been treated differently, as if the east side w ith its towers were the fem in in e , richer and lower side, the west side w ith its high and free tower the m a s c u lin e ; but both sides blend together in the silhouettes of the spires and the castle, making the building into one whole.
