B ENDIEN’S WORLD SERVICE, established in 1903, is the logical development of the possibilities of Ser vice, by an organisation catering, for the needs of manufacturers, wholesalers, shippers, agents, etc., for the development of International Trade. The problem of marketing a product Overseas, calls for something more than mere publicity—such questions as demand, tariffs, climatic conditions, local or foreign competition, bye-laws, import restrictions, duties, etc., are items that need inves- tigation before entering a foreign market. Bendien’s World Service is fully equipped to give every assistance to firms interested in Import or Export Trade. , The various branches of Bendien’s World Service are managed by competent staffs conversant with marketing conditions generally in their own territory and are in a position to secure all information regarding openings, etc., and to introduce agents. Bendien’s World Service is invaluable to all seeking fresh sources of supply or desiring to ascertain the pføce of origin of branded goods, the manufacturers of which are unknown. Bendien’s World Service is the means of bringing trade to firms, through enquiries received from their numerous foreign members.
