O n desiring to find exporters of a certain article it will always be expe- dient to avail oneself of the INDEX TO LIST OF PRODUCTS Page 6 The figures opposite each designation of goods indicate the number of the article in the List of Products on page 81 and foliowing pages, in which latter the headings (goods) are arranged in numerical order with num­ ber added. The numbers are also shown at the top of each page. Under each heading are shown the names of the exporters of the article in question. The index contains all the designations of goods shown in alphabetical order. Where the question concerns designalions consisting of several words making it doubtfui which heading should be looked up, the designations will be found under each of the words. For instance Malting barley and Barley, molting are each shown separately in alphabetical order, each with the number indicated (3IJ. On desiring to find exporters of a certain article it will always be expedient to avail oneself of the index, by means of which the goods designation required is quickly found in the List of Products. Conversely, should it be desired to ascertain the articles a certain firm exports reference should be made to the List of Firms on page 59 and following pages. Here will be found the complete list of exporters, each shown separately, together with the kind of ‘goods the firm exports 3hown in italics. (See Directions for using section “Exporters'* page 56).
