Directions for using the „Exporters“ section.

Instructions pour l’emploi de la section „Exporters**. 1) Liste des Firmes. Les firmes sont rangées d’apréJles villes (Copenhague d’abord, puis les villes de provinces par ordre al­ phabétique). A chaque ville ren- seignements sur sa situation, aux plus grandes villes en outre le nombre d’habitants, profondeur du port etc. Pour chaque ville (adresse postale) les renseignements des fir­ mes en particulier sont portes dans l’ordre suivant: —Nom de la firme, aux plus gran­ des villes suivi du numéro et du nom de la rue. NB. [K],[VJ,ou semblable ajoufée aux adresses de Copenhague in- dique le district postal et doit étre ajoutée au nom de la ville p. ex. Copenhague K. —Articles principaux d’exporta- tions, les noms des marchandises sous lesquels on trouve la firme indiquée dans la Liste des Pro- duits. —Concernant quelques activités on trouve des suppléments spéciaux, comme adresse télégrapliique, ré- férences de banques, année d’éta- blissement, renseignements plus détaillés sur les marchandises d’exportations etc. —A un grand nombre de firmes est ajouté: „See avertisement page . . . .“, un renvoi aux An­ nonces. 2) Liste des Produits. Dans eet index sur les marchan­ dises d’exportations danoises les renseignements de la firme en par­ ticulier sont indiqués dans l’ordre suivant: —Nom de la ville. —Nom de la firme, dans les plus grandes villes suivi du numéro et du nom de la rue. —A un grand nombre de firmes eet ajouté: „See advertisement page . . . . “, un renvoi aux An­ nonces. 3) Annonces. Celles-ci sont rangéspar ordre dc désignations des marchandises, parmi celles-ci Copenhague d’abord, les suivantes aprés les villes de provinces (par ordre alphabétique). Ln faqon correcte de consulter la section „Exporters“. Si vous cherchez une marchandise danoise d'exportation vous la trouverez en cherchant dans la „List of Products“ la désignation anglaise de la marchandise. Si toutefois vous connaissez mieux la désignation franQaise, veuillez d’ahord employer la table franQaise des produits (voir page 65.) qui vous di rige vers le numéro de la marchandise dans la „List of Products1*. Si vous désirez des renseignements jusqu’å quel point la firme a d’au- tres marchandises d’exportations, qui pourraient vous intéresser, vous trouverez sous le nom de la ville dans la „List of Firms** celles-ci indiquées å la firme en particulier. S’il est ajouté au nom de la fir­ me : „See advertisement page.. . . “ on pourra sfirement avec avantage y cliercher des renseignements sup- plémentaires.

Uber den Gebrauch des Abschnittes ,,Exporters“. l) Firinenverzeichnis. Die Firmen sind nach Stadten (Kopenhagen (Copenhagen) zuerst, danach die Provinzstadte in alpha- betisclier Reihenfolge) geordnet. Bei jeder Stadt sind Auskiinfte fiber ihre Lage, bei grosseren Stadten ist zugleich die Einwohnerzahl, Hafen- tiefe usw. angegeben. Innerhalb jeder Stadt (Postadresse) sind die ffir die einzelnen Firmen ange- gebenen Aufkliirungen in folgen­ der Ordnung verzeichnet: —Namen der Firma, bei den gros­ seren Stadten mit nachfolgender Strasse und Hausnummer. NB.: [KJ, [V], oder dgl. den Kopen- hagener Adressen beigeffigt, gibt den Postbezirk an und soli dem Namen der Stadt hinzugeffigt werden, z. B. Kopenhagen K. —Hauptausfuhrartikel, die Artikel- namen, unter welchen die Firma in dem Verzeichnis der Export- waren zu finden ist. —Betreffend einzelne Firmen gibt es besondere Ilinzuffigungen wie Telegrammadresf^e, Bankreferen- zen, Griindungsjahr, nahere Aus- kfinfte fiber Ausfuhrwaren u. dgl. m. --Bei einer grossen Anzahl Firmen ist hinzugeffigt: „See advertise­ ment page . . . .“, ein Hinweis auf die Anzeigen. 2) Verzeichnis der Exportwaren. In diesem Verzeichnis fiber dii- nische Ausfuhrwaren sind die Aus- kfinfte zwecks der einzelnen Fir­ ma in folgender Ordnung angeftthrt: —Namen der Stadt. —Namen der Firma, bei den gros­ seren Stadten mit nachfolgender Strasse und Hausnummer. —Bei einer grossen Anzahl Firmen steht hinzugeffigt: „See advertise­ ment . page . . . .“, ein Hinweis auf die Anzeigen. 3) Anzeigen. , Diese sind nach Artikelnamen geordnet, innerhalb derselben steht Kopenhagen zuerst, die folgenden nach den Provinzstadten (in alpha- betisclier Reihenfolge). Praktlsche Auskunfto uber den riclitlgen Gebrauch des Abschnit­ tes „Exporters“. Falis eine D&nische Ausfuhr- Ware gesucht wird, finden Sie dieselbe im Verzeichnis der Ex­ portwaren unter der englischen Bezeichnung der Ware. Soilten Sie' die deutsche Warenbezeichnung bes- ser kennen, verweisen wir Sie da- rauf, erst das deutsche Artikelver- zeichnis(sieheSeite 65.) aufzusuclien welches sie auf die Nummer der englischen Warenbezeichnung hin- lenken wird. Wfinschen Sie Auskiinfte darfiber, inwieweit die Firmaandere Ausfuhr­ waren hat, die moglicherweise ffir Sie Interesse haben konnen, werden Sie unter dem Namen der Stadt im „Firmenverzeichnis** dieselben bei der einzelnen Firma angegeben finden. Ist bei dem Namen der Firma „See advertisement page . . . . . . “ hinzugeffigt, wird man er- ganzende Auskiinfte mit Vorteil sicher hier suchen konnen.

Indicaciones sobre el uso de la seccion „Exporters“ . 1) Lista de razones sociales. Las razones sociales son arregla- das segun las ciudades (principi- ando con Copenhague, y siguiendo despues las ciudades regionales por orden alfabético). Por cada ciudad se suministra informes sobre su ubicacion, y, en cuanto a las ciuda­ des mayores, el numero de sus habitantes, la profundidad del pu- erto etc. En cada ciudad (direccion postal) se ha clasificado los infor­ mes referentes a las varias razones sociales en la forma siguiente: —El nombre de la razzon social, en los casos de las ciudades mayores seguido por el nombre de la calle y el numero de la casa. NB.: Las letras [KJ, [V] etc., agregadas a las direcciones en Copenhague, significan el distrito postal y deben ser agregadas al nombre de la ciudad, coino por ejemplo: Copenhague K. —Arti'culos principales de exporta­ cion, designacion de los produc­ tos, bajo cuyos nombres estå incluida la razon social en la lista de productos. —Con respecto a ciertas empresas se encuentran afiadiduras espe- ciales, como por ejemplo direc­ cion telegråfica, referencias ban- carias, ano de establecimiento, in­ formes mas detallados acerca de los productos de exportacion etc. 2) Lista de productos. En este catålogo de productos Daneses para exportacion se ha suministrado los informes sobre cada razon social en la forma si­ guiente : —El nombre de la ciudad. —El nombre de la razon social,en los casos de las ciudades mayores seguido por el nombre de la calle y el numero de la casa. —En el caso de un gran niimero de las razones sociales se ha agregado: „See advertisement page . . . . .“, significando esto una referencia a los anuncios. 3) Anuncios. Estos son clasificados segun las designaciones de los productos. Ejemplo pråctico de la forma correcta para consultar la sec- cion „Exporters“ . Si- se busca un producto Da- nés para exportacion, se lo eneuentra averiguando la designa­ cion Inglesa del producto. Conoci- endo Vd. mejor a las designaciones de los productos en Espanol se ruega a Vd. emplear primeramente la Lista de mercaderias en Espa- fiol, (vease pag.65.) queindicaaVd.el numero correspondiente del pro­ ducto en la „List of Products**. Deseando Vd. saber si la razon social tiene otros productos para exportacion, lasquetalvez tendrian interés para Vd., Vd. los encon- trarå indicados bajo el nombre de la ciudad en ,;List of Firms**, al lado de la razon social. Siendo agregado „See advertisement page . . . . .“ al nombre de la razon so­ cial,sera sin duda proveclioso buscar informes suplementarios entre los anuncios.

1) List of Firms. The firms are arranged alphabe- ticaily for the respective towns— Copenhagen first and thereafter provincial towns likewise in alpha- betical order. Information is given about the situation of each town, for large towns also particulars as to number of inbabitants, and in the case of ports depth of harbour etc. Within the group for each town (postal address) the particulars re- specting the individual firms are given in the following order: —Name of firm which for the large towns is followed by name of Street and number of house. N o te : The letters to Copenhagen addresses, for instance [K], [VJ etc. signify postal dis'tricts and should be added to the name of the town, for inst. Copenhagen K. —Principal articles of Export, the product designations under which the firm will be found in the List of Products. —For some concerns the telegra- phic address, bankingreferences, year of establishment, details as to articles of export etc. are given. •—In counexion witli a large num­ ber of firms the following refe­ rence : „See advertisement page . .“ is given. 2) List of Products. In this list of Danish export goods the information concerning the individual firms is given in tlie following order: L’_- —Name of town.’ JK'iJW'"' —Name of firm, which for the large towns is followed by name of Street and number of house. —The reference: „See advertise­ ment page . . . .“ will be found in connexion witli a large num­ ber of firms.

3) Advertisements. These are arranged according to names of products, for Copenhagen first, provincial towns following in alphahetical order.

The correct way of Consulting the ,,Exporters“ Section. When seeking a Danish article o f export, this will be found by looking up theEnglish designation for the article in the „ListofPro- ducts“. On the pages 65 etc. will be found indexes to goods in English, French, German, Spanish and Dan­ ish with reference to the number in List of Products. If you wisli lo know whether the firm exports other goods likely to be of interest to you this can be ascertained by referring to the name of the town in the „List of Firms** where the desired informa­ tion will be found. Where the remark: „See adver­ tisement page . . . .“ follows the firm name additional information of advantage will doubtless be found on availing oneself of this reference.
