The harbour is in direct connexion with all railway lines issuing from

Aalborg-Norresundby.

The port possesses bonded warehouses and grain elevators, and there is a

coaling depot-with modern crane facilities.

Aalborg exports to the principal ports in the North Sea, the Mediterranean, U. S. A. Atlantic ports, and also ports in East Asia, Australia and South America, thus affording excellent conditions for securing return cargoes. There is one drydock accomodating vessell having a length of up lo 380 ft. (maximum), and there are three slips to accomodate vessels weighing up to 1000 tons. \
