Rosenborg Slots H a v e , Rosenborg Palace Garden, called also Kongens Have, The King’s Garden , alth o u g h not so extensive now by one th ird as it w as in the days o f C hristian th e F o u rth , is still o f g re at extent considering it is situ ate alm ost in the h e a rt of the city. T h e two public entrances are from K ro iip rin dsesseg ade an d the 0 s te r v o ld , w hich rem ain open from an early h ou r in the m o rn in g till h a lf an h o u r b efore sunset. T h e fine trees, sh ru b s and flowers, and b ro a d w alks, ren d er th is g arden an excellent and ag reeable p rom en a d e; y e t it is no t so frequented as one w ould su p p o se: this is p ro b ab ly on account o f its being th e re g u la r re so rt o f se rv an t m aids and children, bonnes and b a b ie s, and to such a degree as to hav e obtained for it, no t unap tly, the nam e o f "e n Am m estue,” or " a N u rse ry :” in E ng lish the bon mot w ould be im prov ed b y "N u rse ry G ard en.” In the centre, su rroun ded by tre e s, is a circu lar basin, in the m iddle o f w hich stands a gro u p in bronze, a B oy
