There are scenes from the struggle for Schlesw ig from 1848 to 1850, and again in 1864, and excellent portraits of Danish men and wom en whose fame has spread th ro u g h o u t the whole wo rld — artists, poets and scientists — Ø rsted , M advig, W orsaae, Hans Christian Andersen, Niels W.
