One passes by the great public beach “ Bellevue” at Klampcnborg, (description, see page 46) and continues to the right by the old Strandvej to the fishing hamlct Tårbæk. Enroute to Skodsborg we pass on the left the road leading to the “ Dyrehaven” at “ Trepilelågen” (porch of the three willows). Further on a road to Springforbi station, where there also is an entrance into the Dyrehaven. Passing by hotel “ Beaulieu” one descends a hiil and comes to the spot where the river Mølleå fails into the Sound. Herc the beautiful “ Strandmøllc Kro” is situated. A restaurant in old rustic style, a beautiful garden with access to the beach. From Strandmøllen a path leads to the west to a camping place, “ Strandmøllclejren” , tel. Skodsborg 401, also entrance at 25, Skodsborg Strandvej. In Skodsborg, a pleasant villa town, “ Skodsborg Badesanatorium og Rekreationshjem” , a sanatorium, is situated. From here many walking trips can be made, f.i. to “ Bøllemosen” or Rådvad. On slope the restaurant “ Udsigten” (The view), furthermore several inns and pen­ sions. In the northern part of the forest Jægersborg Hegn several barrows from the bronze age are Situated. From here the Strandvej continues northwards by the barrow “ Lokeshoj” , situated in a private park, but accessible for the public, to Vedbæk. Hotels Hotel “Rosenlund” , 328, Strandvejen, tel. Bchind Smidstrupgård, a manor house built in 1867 in English Gothic style, formerly belonging to the late Georg I o f Grcece, the road continues along the water by “ Rungstedlund” , where the poet Johannes Ewald lived in the years 1773-75, and which now belongs to the writer Karen Blixen.
