On the main road through thc park to Fortunen onc passes by Peter Liep’s House, (a popular restaurant), and “ Dyrehavs- bakken” , (a popular amusement park). From here the road turns north west through thc beautiful Wolves Valley, (Ulvedalen), also a favoritc excursion point, in thc winter for skiing and slcdging. From Peter Liep’s House a road leads north to the beautiful royal hunting lodge “ Eremitagen” , built by King Christian VI 1734-36, in rococo stylc, richly ornamented and with mueh sculpture. The lodge is still used for cclcbration after a hunt, but is not habited. Dyrehavsbakken, the biggest amusement park in Scandinavia, season May ist-August I5th, 110 entrance fce, with all forms of popular amusements, many restaurants and dancing places, music halls, circus, switchback, etc. etc. By train via Rungsted to Helsingør (Elsinore), 45 km. Trains leaving every hours the main station or thc station Nørreport and Østerport, passing Charlottcnlund (10 km), with the aquarium and open air baths. Continuing to Klampenborg (13 km) with the famous summer resort Bellcvue and the splendid Dyrehave, with thc beautiful hunting lodge Eremitagen. Through changing landscapes, forests and modern villa towns the train continues to Skodsborg (15 km), Vedbæk (19 km), Rungsted (23 km), Nivå (29 km), Humlebæk (34 km), Snekkersten (40 km) to Helsingør, a town o f 18.930 inhabitants, at the narrowest point o f the Sound, only 4 km frøin the Swedish coast, with town privileges from 1426. The town had its time o f glory during the period o f thc Sound Toli, o f which many beautiful buddings still bear witness.
