Copenhagen is famous for its beautiful environs and for good reasons. A number of exceedingly beautiful and idyllic lakes are situated in tbe nearest surrounding country, encircled by the light green forests of beeches and large, magnificent forests stretch through the smiling landscapes of North-Sealand, where the fields, yellow with corn, and w ith fine.farm s are »wavy with bill and vale«. World-known is the coast of tbe Sound from Copenhagen to Elsinore with the multitude of idyllic w atering places, and therefore a visit to Copenhagen always m ust be combined with an excursion through North-Sealand. The means of communication are good and the most beautiful places are situated on the eastern p a rt of Sealand near the coast of tbe Sound. Therefore it is easy to arrange tbe different trips to suit everybody and according to the time at ones disposal. Space vill only allow us to give a very short and superficial list of the most beautiful places in North-Sealand, from which the to u rist himself may be able to make combinations for tbe different trips. We strongly recommend to take a trip by boat along the coast, weather perm itting and if one is not disposed to get sea-sick; a trip like this on a fine and sunny day will be remembered a long time.
