The Royal Veterinary Copenhagen are the follo­ wing: The Royal Veterinary and Agricultural College, situ a­ ted on Fredcriksberg, 13 Bii- lowsvej, founded in 1856. The veterinary departm ent though was founded already in 1773 by the physician Peter Chri­ stian Abildgaard, a bust of whom is placed in front of the anatomy-building in the court of the college. — The college consists of six depart­ ments : Veterinary science, Agriculture, Dairying, H o rti­ culture, Surveying and Fore­ stry. The college was built by Th. Bindesball, enlarged in 1892—95 with new buildings, and later from 1918 again enlarged considerably — in fact this last enlargement
