From Frederiksberg Hund- del (roundel) one enters the beautiful Frederiksberg Gar- • den through the m ain-entran­ ce with its stylish gate of pil­ lars with vases. Through the garden to the right one co­ mes to Apistemplet, the main- entrance of the Zoological Harden (see Chapter 13). To | the left of the main entrance • of Frederiksberg Have in the • corner of the roundel is the entrance of Haveselskabets Have (garden of the Garden Society) owned by the Royal Danish Garden Society and laid out as a model-garden for the furtherance of the h orti­ culture and gardening.

From the roundel going North is Alldgade with the much frequented place of a musement »Lorry« (see Chap­ ter 13). F u rth er down the avenue in a little plantation are monuments to the poets ITolger Draclimann, M. Gold­ schmidt, 11. V. Kaalund and the young Adam Oehlensclila- gcr (sculptor J. Schultz). To the South the Pilealle passes the lawn tennis grounds and the covered tennis court of the Copenhagen Foot-ball Club to the corner entrance of Sondermarken (park) (see Chapter 9) and the ascent of the Frederiksberg Hill, by which one, having passed by
