Standing on the Town-Hall Square, having the Town- Hall to tlie left, one will no­ tice a tree-planted boulevard on the. rig h t side of the Town- Hall. This boulevard crosses the square and is called Ve­ stre Boulevard. * * * Vestre Boulevard begins at Langebro (see Route 6). I t forms one of the most fashio­ nable quarters of Copenhagen with the Danics Square as the center, surrounded by the big complex of Ny Carlsberg Olyptothek (see Chapter 7), the building of the Society

of Sciences (see Chapter 7) and the fine big building of the insurance company »Dan- mark« on the corner of Niels Brocksgade, in which the Royal Danish Agricultural Society has its rooms. Next to this is the Royal Danish Conservatory of Music (see Chapter 7). In the middle of the square stands the beauti­ ful Dante Column (see Chap­ ter 9). A number of fine sculptu­ res are set up on Vestre Bou­ levard (see Chapter 9). From Dantes Square the boulevard continues along T i­ voli, to the left, the Town-
